The FISH Team Short Course Records (*Updated 8/2010)
We
are all very excited to welcome Coach Steven Benecki to the FISH Family.
Please say hello to him when you see him on deck and introduce yourself
so that he gets to know all of you very quickly!
Coach Steven learned to swim at the age of
four and has been involved in the sport ever since then. He was one of the very
first members of the Fish Swim Team when it began in 1991. Starting out as a Mini
Fish, Steven progressed through the groups and trained with the Awesome Fish
for ten years.
Dear FISH families,
I am sad to announce that I will be leaving the FISH. I have been given a great opportunity to
coach and teach in Vietnam. This
position will allow me to travel, teach, coach and spend more time with my
family.
Over the past year I have been blessed to work with wonderful coaches, swimmers, and parents. I have learned a great deal from Coach Ray about coaching and Monika about team management.
My decision to leave is not an easy one, I will miss coaching the FISH swimmers and interacting with my coaching buddies. The FISH is a great team and I wish you all the best in and out of the water.
