Mike Kraeuter
Mike Kraeuter has been coaching at various levels since 1997. Before he started his coaching career he had the opportunity to swim for Rutgers University where he graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Exercise Science & Sports Studies. During Mike's years of coaching he has:
- Headed the Middlesex Water WRATS (summer league team in NJ) to an undefeated season.
- Coached for the Garden States Masters Team.
- Worked with both the ARETE and Longhorn swim camps.
- Coached for the Scarlet Aquatic Club in NJ.
- Assisted in leading the men and women's swim team at Vassar College to their highest conference finish to date while also helping them break in excess of 30 team records in one season.
After Mike finished his season at Vassar he wanted to get back into Age-Group Coaching and was lucky to find the FISH. He has been with the FISH since the Fall of 2003. During his time here he was assigned to be Head Assistant Coach for the PVS Zone team.
He headed up the McLean Marlins swim team (in NVSL) getting them from division 4 to 3.
At the FISH, Mike is working as the Head Age-Group Coach, where his main group is the Terrific FISH, but he works with every group, from Mini Fish to Awesome Fish, at some level.
