When did you join
the FISH, and what has been your most memorable experience while being on the
team?
I joined in 2004. My most memorable experiences are summer practices with Coach Gabe at Lake Newport.
What was your most
rewarding and exciting meet during your FISH career?
I forget the name, I think a derby, it was at GMU and I got three best times in one day!
What is your favorite set?
Ins and outs with Coach Mike!

favorite events?
100 Breast and 200 I.M.
What is the biggest
challenge for you in swimming?
Kicking and being on time!
What motivates you most?
Friends and a desire to get better.
Which aspects of
swimming do you apply in everyday life?
Hard work. Tenacity. Leadership. Spirit.
You are beginning a
new chapter in your life, college. What are you most looking forward to? How
has FISH prepared you?
I am most looking forward to new experiences and independence. FISH has helped me learn how to make friends and establish good connections.
What advice can you
give your teammates in your group and especially your younger teammates who are
just starting out?
Here and Now. Enjoy swimming but just life in general. Not only is there only one chance for everything, it goes by so fast! Embrace it!
Tell us a little bit about you; what do you like to do when you are not
swimming or busy with schoolwork?
I love my friends and being in Reston Town Center. I play the piano and guitar and am pursuing a medical career starting at UVA. I play basketball and love being active. Martin Lawrence and Jackie Chan are a few of my favorite actors and I absolutely love movies. Summer is my favorite time of the year. My favorite thing to do is to go on cruises. I am the head coach for the Hunters Woods Blue Marlins!!
