An Amazing "Race"

JOs_2010.jpg  I don't know how you feel, but the last months with all the championships have been amazing for all of us here at the FISH.

We have talked about preparing our swimmers all season long, to get them ready for the demanding competition.  Most of you came to practice to work hard and we are very proud of all of you to set a goal, give it your best at every practice and as a result, become a stronger swimmer.  Our coaches worked tenaciously to make every single athlete the best in the pool and with that, making our team stronger.

We are proud of all of you!  It doesn't matter whether you  participated in Mini Champs, Junior Champs, Senior Champs, Junior Olympics, Spring Champs, Zones, a Grand Prix Meet, the Canadian/American Paralympic Nationals, or if you are just on the verge of beginning to compete, you all are very special and we congratulate you on achieving your personal goal.  If you keep training, perhaps next year your goal is to participate in the Junior Olympics?  I promise you, we will work with you to achieve your goal.

Once again, congratulations to all our FISH swimmers for a fantastic short course season!  Onward....to the long course season and the 2010-2011 short course season.  The fun has just begun!
