Dear FISH Parents,
This is all you need!
Currently, the SCRIP website is under construction and you
will be unable to place orders in the near future. I have been checking it regularly and will let you
know when you can start purchasing gift cards that will help raise money for
the FISH.
I am, however, able to order gift cards for you at GIANT and a percentage of the purchase
will be donated directly to the FISH.
This will allow every family in our organization an easy way to provide
support at some level, without spending more than they already do on everyday
purchases at GIANT (including prescriptions).
GIANT will donate a percentage of what you spend in their stores to our organization when you purchase the SCRIP cards through us. Then all you do is simply use your SCRIP cards to pay for your purchases at GIANT. Using this as part of your daily routine will become an ongoing means of support of our program. We realize this may take some planning on your part, but with your support, this program can yield a healthy financial return.
Now you may be asking why I should get involved in this program. Fundraising is a key element to helping us give more to you. For example:
· Keep annual fees down. Just this past year pool rental was increased, USA-Swimming registration went up, yet we chose not to raise your dues.
· Hiring additional coaches to better our program for the athletes.
· Adding extra practices and pool time where possible, including our pre-season program, expanded Monday practices, special holiday practices, and stroke clinics/time trial sessions over Winter and Spring break.
All you have to do...
· Fill out the attached order form and place in the folder marked SCRIP with a check before the stated deadline.
· You can order SCRIP cards in $50 & $100 denominations. It is that simple!
A few other points that you must know:
· We have to order a minimum amount of SCRIP cards to place the order. Because of this we plan on placing orders every month. I will send out an e-mail with the order form attached, all you have to do is fill it out and do the same as above...
· Once ordered it may take up to a week for the SCRIP cards to come in, most likely shorter.
