Attention Swimmers and Parents:
The Incredible and Terrific FISH swimmers and I have an exceptional educational opportunity. We will be attending the Eastern States Swim Clinic in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, October 17 - 18th. For our swimmers, they will have a special opportunity to work with our country's top coaches including Bob Bowman, Sean Hutchison, and Jack Bauerle as well as Olympians such as Dara Torres, Rebecca Soni and Brendan Hansen. There will be 3 pool sessions and a lecture series with speakers & the Olympians. Our swimmers will learn about stroke technique, starts and turns, nutrition, recovery and mental skills.
Space is limited for the clinic so we need a quick response and commitment from you. The entire cost for this event is $250 which covers the following: transportation to and from the clinic, accommodations for 2 nights, one night of training at the Jersey Wahoos Pool, and entry into the clinic. Please make checks payable to The FISH and turn them into me during practice.
Vans will be leaving Spring Hill pool on Friday Oct. 16th. Please let me know what is the earliest possible time you can get to Spring Hill, so we can arrange a van schedule for departures.
We will be returning on Sunday Oct. 18th at 7:00 pm. Accommodations will be at Extended Stay, 4 swimmers per room. The rooms will include a microwave and refrigerator.
Incredible and Terrific Fish need to respond and turn in a check by Sunday September 13th.
We will also need 5 chaperones/van drivers to accompany the team on this trip. Please respond to this email to RSVP. Let me know if there are any conflicts which may not allow you to attend.
