Coach Ray and most of his Awesome swimmers including Kate Ziegler, Matthew and Steven Benecki, Brian Via, Michael Flach, John Baldwin and Kim Case left yesterday to participate in the 2009 TYR Swim Meet of Champions hosted by the Mission Viejo Nadadores in Mission Viejo, CA.
More than 65 teams with over 600 athletes including Olympians Jason Lezak, Nathan Adrian, Rebecca Soni, Chloe Sutton and of course Kate Ziegler are participating in this meet. Needless to say, there will be a high level of competition which will give us a taste of what to expect at the World Championship Trials next month in Indianapolis.
