How do I become an Official for the FISH Swim Team?

Written by Coach Norm

Five Reasons to Become a Swimming Official

1.    You'll be working with the greatest group of volunteers in all sports.
2.    You'll be close to the action. The bleachers aren't comfortable anyway!
3.    High satisfaction; low pay.
4.    It's a great way to meet future Olympians--unless you already have one in your home.
5.    Great food in hospitality, and you can't beat the price!

Your swimmer needs you to become certified as a Stroke and Turn official.  We could not have swim meets with out officials.

On Saturday February 21st, 2009 the FISH will be hosting a PVS Stroke and Turn Officials clinic at the Spring Hill RECenter from 2-4pm.  There is no prior experience necessary to attend.  Pre-Registration is encouraged but not necessary.

Please visit the following link to preregister for the clinic.

You can also email Coach Norm and he will get you registered.

The FISH swim team really needs your help and if you have any questions please contact Coach Norm.

We're looking forward to seeing you at the clinic!
