By Coach Norm
Michael is in his first year on the FISH swim team and also his first time swimming on a USA Swim Team. Michael has swum during the summer and wanted to continue his swimming during the winter so he tried out for the FISH. He was not legal in all strokes at his tryout, so he was told he had to come to morning practices in order to get the stroke instruction he needed to become legal in all his strokes. Michael is currently legal in all strokes and is able to complete a 200 IM. Michael's parents credit the morning practices to Michael's success and they are very happy getting up to bring him at 4:50 am because they know he will get the individual attention he needs.
